The expertise found within the UK aquaculture industry positions us as leaders on many of the challenges and opportuntie’s in this field. The UK industry is centred around production of key species such as salmon, as well as other growing finfish and shellfish sectors. Combining best industry practice with innovative solutions and a supportive research base, the UK is positioned to significantly expand its offshore, nearshore and landbased production systems.
