Cyber Security

The National Cyber Security Centre’s (NCSC) definition of cyber security’s core function is to protect the devices we all use, and the services we access from theft or damage and preventing unauthorised access to personal information we store on these devices, and online.

Our people use their deep expertise to support organisations in cyber security ranging from early stage startups seeking funding to well-established businesses looking for collaborations. Many of these organisations are also interested in ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) and Internet of Things (IoT). By helping innovators in this space collaborate and create powerful connections, we accelerate ideas into real-world solutions.

Future RAN: Diversifying the 5G Supply Chain

Future RAN (Radio Access Network – i.e. mobile phone masts or similar) is an open competition, run by DCMS, that will allocate up to £30 million of R&D funding to projects that support the goals of the government’s 5G Supply Chain Diversification Strategy. The competition is aimed at helping to incentivise industry to create new products and services to unlock the full potential of Open RAN.

Scottish EDGE - Apply by 16th Aug for up to £100k business funding

Scottish EDGE is a competition aimed at identifying and supporting Scotland’s up-and-coming, innovative, high-growth entrepreneurial talent.
