Innovate UK’s Young Innovators Awards 2022/23 are open for application. Following the briefing event on 14th June 2022, we hosted three 1 hour drop-in sessions about the application process. Recordings from 20th June and 5th July are available now; recording from 18th July coming soon.

20th June – How will my innovation make a difference?
During this session, we will cover Questions 15 and 16 in the application form:

- Value Proposition: What is your value proposition?
- Impact: What difference will this award make to you personally and to your business idea?
We will share some tips and suggestions when it comes to answering these and will also have time for you to ask any questions you might have.

5th July – How will I plan for the worst and achieve the best?
During this session, we will talk about Questions 17 and 18 in the application form:

- Game Plan: What is your game plan?
- Risks: What are the main risks for your project idea? (+ optional risk register)
We will share some tips and suggestions when it comes to answering these and will also have time for you to ask any questions you might have.

18th July – How will I sell my story?
During this session, we will discuss Question 19 in the application form: Video (YouTube, 3 minutes)
We will be joined by Young Innovators Awardees who will share some tips and suggestions about how to tell and sell your story through a short 3-minute video. We will also have time for you to ask any questions you might have.
