Workshop - Safety Tech Innovation Network: the next steps
This session will review issues, discussions and next steps from across the previous four thematic workshops. Based on these, we’ll prioritise the areas on which we’d like to focus, and agree key deliverables and milestones.
This interactive workshop will discuss the progress we’ve made building the Safety Tech Innovation Network over the past six months, and explore the priorities that should inform the network’s future development.
The workshop will include presentations from DCMS Safety Tech teams, and discussion on issues including:
- How the network has grown to date, what we have learned about the safety tech community, and how we might grow the community further;
- Progress on our ‘innovation challenge’ areas of diversity and inclusion, understanding audience needs, community management and data-sharing;
- The role of the innovation network as a ‘shop-front’ for safety tech, and what we can do to further increase the visibility of the safety tech sector.
The outputs will shape the direction for the Safety Tech Innovation Network through 2021 and beyond.
