Neurotechnology

From bioelectronic medicine that treat chronic diseases, to brain-computer interfaces that help stroke rehabilitation, neurotechnology will play an increasingly important role in meeting some of the challenges of an ageing society.

The UK already has a world leading research base in neurotechnology. The Neurotechnology Innovation Network (formerly SIG) will help transfer knowledge from academia to this fast-growing industry sector and provides a vital meeting place between clinicians and technologists. The aims of the network are to grow the neurotechnology community and accelerate innovation through cross-sector collaborations.

We have developed a Neurotechnology landscape map to highlight the universities, research organisations, companies, charities and investors that are working in this area.
