Agenda released for the Photonics4Food Event

Posted on: 08/08/2019

Are you interested in how photonics can be used in the food and drink industry? Speakers announced for the Photonics4Food Event, 24 Sep.

The Photonics4Food symposium, part of the Photonics21 Photonics4 series, will showcase the latest photonics R&D as applied to the food and drink industry. Photonics can be used to address many of the current challenges in the food and drink industry, from judging the ripeness of fruit, to novel packaging and colour defect detection.

During the event, speakers from industry and the research base will highlight the latest R&D and sector challenges, and there will be the opportunity to get “hands on” with photonics equipment. Funding opportunities for photonics-based innovation will also be presented.
