The UK’s first food founders’ festival will offer solutions to the five biggest problems faced by food and drink SMEs.

Industry experts Bread & Jam surveyed* UK food and drink companies to identify and provide solutions to the most common entry and growth barriers within the marketplace. The top five issues raised were:

  • Money ‚Äì funding your business and cash flow
  • Successful crowdfunding ‚Äì to launch or grow your business
  • Retail ‚Äì contacting buyers and getting your products to market
  • E-commerce ‚Äì reaching millions of customers with one click
  • Exporting ‚Äì cashing in on ‚Äòbrand British‚Äô

To help independent producers overcome these hurdles at every stage of their business journey, founders Tara Mei and Jason Gibb return with Bread & Jam, now in its second year.

“Bread & Jam is THE event to go to if you want a crash course on how to navigate the world of FMCG from the industry’s best people” according to the founder of Pip & Nut, Pippa Murray.

Bread & Jam 2017 will bring together hundreds of food founders, retailers, media and industry leaders in a ground-breaking programme of hands-on workshops, panel discussions, meet-the-buyer sessions, new producer awards and inspirational keynotes.
