Building on success in industrial biotechnology
KTN is proud to be supporting the Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre’s annual conference. 
Now in its fourth year, Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre‚Äôs (IBioIC) annual conference is returning to Glasgow on 25-26 January for 2018 and is fast becoming the main ‘go to’ event for the biotech industry in Scotland.
Attracting over 400 hundred bio-based professionals, academics and students from across the UK and Europe in 2016 & 17, this event brings together a unique mix of academia, biobased professionals and supporting organisations under one roof, to hear about and explore the potential opportunities for industrial biotechnology (IB) in Scotland as well as the global landscape of the industry. Building a reputation as one of the most important UK based industrial biotechnology meetings in the calendar, attracting key players and influencers in the UK and global bioeconomy, attendees can expect to hear from leading experts from industry and academia, participate in partnering meetings, visit the exhibition and poster area, and network with contacts old and new.

KTN’s Bioeconomy Specialist, Dr Yvonne Armitage, will be chairing a session on 25th January. This session will look at the companies currently going through the process of navigating the “valley of death”,¬†the support that exists for those companies, and how IBioIC‚Äôs new business plan is set to address this.¬†KTN will also be supporting the Opening Plenary.
