Cell and Gene Therapy Manufacturing Workshop – Practical considerations for commercial realisation will be held in March in London.

This year’s Cell and Gene Therapy Manufacturing Workshop will be held 11th – 12th March at the Hallam Conference Centre in London, hosted by the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult. This year’s theme focuses on the theme of practical considerations for commercial realisation.

The objective of the workshop is to challenge delegates to think about the commercial product, market and process from the outset when developing a cell or gene therapy. The workshop should be able to allow delegates to later utilise this information to inform their process development and manufacturing strategy for clinical trials and routine manufacturing.

The Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult’s GMP manufacturing report (amongst other research) showcases that the industry is growing in size and capability. As the industry moves towards commercial realisation, there a number of areas companies should pay particular attention to, including preparing for a successful audit, quality control, and data handling. This workshop will determine the practical considerations for these areas.
