E-Textiles 2019 will be taking place in November, with a call for abstracts to be submitted by 30th August.
The E-Textiles Network has announced its first conference, E-Textiles 2019. The event will be held on 12th November in London, with the full title ‚ÄòE-Textiles 2019: International Conference on the Challenges, Opportunities, Innovations and Applications in Electronic Textiles‚Äô.
The event will welcome delegates from industry and academia, granting them the opportunity to discuss exciting innovations and challenges in the rapidly emerging field of e-textiles.
The E-Textiles Network is calling for papers to be submitted, from both academia and industry. Original abstracts relating to research and innovation will be considered for oral presentations by the Technical Programme Committee, with speakers being added to the programme alongside keynote and invited talks.

- Integrated electronics in textiles
- Electronic packaging
Textile Power Supplies
- Textile/yarn solar cells
- Textile energy storage devices
- Textile energy harvesting
Textile Sensors & Actuators
- Sensor and actuator technologies for textiles

- Woven/Knitted/Embroidered e-textiles

- Fashion and Home Furnishings
There is also a call for student poster presentations in the same topics as above, with those chosen receiving free entry to the conference and a ¬£100 Amazon voucher prize for the best poster.

About the E-Textiles Network:
The E-Textiles Network is an EPSRC funded activity, which was founded in August 2018 to accelerate the development and adoption of e-textiles technology by facilitating focused research activities and disseminating results. The Network will bring members together to: identify application challenges in key application sectors; define research challenges; facilitate collaboration to enable industrial pull; identify and attract new research disciplines that can be applied to e-textiles; aid dissemination of research results and broadly promote technology.
