Follow the KTN and Innovate UK on the latest Global Expert Mission in Cyber Security to the USA

From 2 – 6 September 2019, KTN travels to the east of the USA to focus on potential markets for collaboration in Cyber Security.

The USA has been identified as a potential market to consider for collaboration with the UK across the Cyber Security sector, including for the development of bi-lateral funding competitions. The USA is the world leader in cyber security innovation in both market size and investments in R&D. In addition, the UK and USA have a common language, share research base priorities, and are members of the ‘Five Eyes’ (FVEY), which is an anglophone intelligence alliance comprising Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States.

 

Key industries the UK delegation will consider on this Global Expert Mission include fintech, critical national infrastructure, defence, Internet of Things (IoT), manufacturing, healthcare, and business to business (B2B) professional services.
