Healthy Ageing Grand Challenge Engagement Events

KTN to host events around the ISCF Healthy Ageing investment ‘TrailBlazers’.

 

The Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund for Healthy Ageing has launched its first major investment called ‘TrailBlazers‘ and applications can be made from 23rd September. To extend the reach of this ¬£40 Million Opportunity KTN is organising events with local partners which will provide greater access to those interested in Healthy Ageing to the Challenge Director or Deputy Challenge Director.

The largest element of the £98m Healthy Ageing programme, funded by the government’s Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ISCF), is the ‘Trailblazer’ projects.  £40m will be invested to stimulate new ideas from a wide range of businesses and social enterprises to develop and deliver products, services and business models at a large scale to support people as they age.  ISCF is led by UK Research and Innovation.

KTN is running a briefing event on 27th September in Manchester where delegates can find out more about the scope of the Trailblazers from representatives from UK Research and Innovation and explore opportunities for consortia building.
