KTN is organising a Photonics Pitchfest at Photonics Europe, 9 October 2019

KTN is running Pitchfest, a pitching competition for photonics companies at one of the largest events in the photonics calendar, Photonex Europe 2019.

 

The conference is on 9-10 October at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry and is billed by the organisers as: “The¬†UK‚Äôs premier event dedicated to photonics, imaging, lasers, optical technologies from pure research to development of bespoke advanced user solutions.” ¬†With over 1000 visitors and 90 exhibitors, this is the ideal platform for early stage photonics businesses to reach an audience of potential partners and investors.

 

KTN’s Pitchfest offers a unique opportunity to raise the profile of your photonics businesses. ¬†It’s a competitive process and to secure your place simply complete the short survey below and your application will be assessed by KTN’s Photonics Knowledge Transfer Manager and the Access to Funding and Finance team.

 

Those who are selected will be invited to attend a short series of webinars on raising investment which prepares companies for a rigorous selection step. The training provides the skills for developing and presenting a strong business pitch to investors and possible business partners. KTN will cover communication skills and background information on the various types of funding and insight into the investors’ perspective.

 

If selected, businesses are exposed to investment opportunities through a pitching competition on 9 October at Photonex Europe where they are invited to present their ideas and take part in a showcase event.
