Join us at IDEALondon on Monday 3rd September for a fantastic opportunity to get free support and mentoring from three of the Knowledge Transfer Network’s experts.

Three industry experts from the Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) will be available for 1-2-1 sessions throughout the Monday afternoon to offer support and advice on your innovation challenges. As Innovate UK’s network partner, KTN supports access to public funding streams and works nationally to combine in-depth knowledge across all sectors to help companies innovate faster. Connecting with KTN can lead you to potential partners, horizon-expanding events, bespoke support and innovation insights relevant to your needs.

So pop by on Monday 3rd September for a session with one or more of the team below, no need to book ahead!

Dr Caroline Chibelushi, Artificial Intelligence Knowledge Transfer Manager

Caroline hails from an Electronic Engineering background has an extensive experience in the oil exploration industry and energy transmission and distribution. During her time in higher education she managed the commercialisation of innovative ideas, specifically a research-led SME involving artificial intelligence, big data analytics, systems and service and device development. She has initiated, designed and developed AI products to reduce challenges in mental health, social and adult care, obesity, and caesarean birth. She has developed a predictive model for an African stock market, and a system to identify tax fraud as well as initiated, designed and developed algorithms to predict and deter organised crime.

Andy Curtis, Digital & Creative Knowledge Transfer Manager

Andy has a background in the Creative, Media and Digital industries that has also encompassed many other technology and innovation led sectors, niches and business markets.He has worked with businesses, local and national government and Universities in client cities and regions in the UK, Europe and North America to support partnerships, programme strategy/management/delivery of growth initiatives and business support programmes in the innovative technology sectors.

Mairi Dillon, Access to Funding & Finance Knowledge Transfer Manager

Mairi supports early stage businesses to navigate the funding and finance landscape and engages with funders (private and public) to communicate their needs and requirements. Mairi has a broad base of core business experience and was previously Head of Operations for a VC backed biotech startup. She has experience actively seeking early stage investment and first-hand insight into the process. Mairi formerly worked in development for Entrepreneurial Scotland and communications roles for multi-million pound government construction joint ventures.
