Overview

This year the Forum works in collaboration with the Polish Science Ministry and the Polish Embassy in London, and is focused on Women in STEM and Artificial Intelligence.

This unique event will showcase successful female careers in the STEM sector in the UK and Poland as well as create a networking platform between the two countries to share best practice on promoting gender balance in STEM education and careers, also with the use of such new technologies as Artificial Intelligence and machine learning.

Are you a UK researcher, academic or innovator? Gain first-hand information about the way both countries enhance gender equality in STEM, identify new areas for collaboration in STEM and wider digital economy, and create network of contacts and partnerships at this upcoming event.

About the 2nd British-Polish Science Forum

The 2nd British-Polish Science Forum picks up on the launch of the first British-Polish Science Forum which took place last year, organised in Warsaw within British-Polish Year of Entrepreneurship, Science and Innovation (YESI). The 2nd British-Polish Science Forum will provide a platform for government officials, researchers, educators and universities to connect with each other. You will be able to learn about new opportunities for collaboration in STEM and data-driven economy, discuss issues such as the need for increased female representation in STEM and impact of new technologies like AI and machine learning on societies and gender equality.
