The Horizon Europe space calls are now open with access to previously restricted topics.

You may have seen in the first edition of the Horizon Europe 2021-2022 Digital, Industry and Space work programme that some topics in the space and quantum areas were closed to the UK. Over the summer the UK government worked closely with the EC to address their concerns over security and safeguarding of the Union’s interests. The EC were satisfied with our responses and have opened these topics to UK participants.

This is great news for the UK space sector, confirmed in the latest work programme (dated the 28th October), and opens up topics in SatCom, launch, EO and space technology.

You can find full call information on the Funding and Tenders Portal with the following calls and topics now open, all with a deadline of the 16th February 2022.
