KTM Social Science Business Innovation
Alexandra leads on social science and industry engagement. In her role she works to facilitate collaborations between social science researchers and businesses. She’s passionate about raising the profile of social sciences in the UK, highlighting their value, and helping businesses look beyond traditional STEM approaches in their innovation journeys.
In her previous role at KTN she worked as Innovation Insights and Policy Analyst. In this role she led across qualitative research projects, designed and implemented an internal framework for tacit knowledge management and facilitated design sprints, focus groups and user research across multiple projects.
She is a sociologist with a background in social and cultural research. Her PhD looked at the happiness and wellbeing industry in the UK, and particularly focused on communities of practice and the translation of academic jargon into lay terms.
