Georgina Navalles

I lead the policy work in the Futures team, working across sectors to translate Innovate UK Business Connect’s knowledge and insights into evidence-based recommendations to feed into policymaking. I monitor and analyse the policy and political landscape to identify levers of change and ultimately drive innovation in the UK.

I have experience representing business interests in policymaking at local, regional, national and international levels. Some policy areas I have worked on include post-16 education and skills, innovation, R&D, transport, and regulation.

I have an international background having worked in Spain, Belgium (Brussels) and the UK. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business and a Master’s degree in International Relations.

I aim to champion innovative businesses in policymaking and enable positive change.
