Knowledge Transfer Manager - Net Zero
I am the Knowledge Transfer Manager for Net Zero, which is a cross-cutting initiative aligned with the government’s 2050 Net Zero goals; this has also been prioritised within our company strategy. I was previously KTM within the Innovation and Insights team now being called the Futures team. That role was about looking at how we, as KTN, improve engagement with companies; making us more proactive and more efficient in our processes.
I previously started with the KTN in 2011 as the Community Manager for Space and Defence, where I also operated as the Communications Lead and Event Organiser for the Space Innovation and Growth Strategy Programme Management Office. Before moving into more recent positions, I had a 6-month stint as the Project Support Manager for the Smart Specialisation Hub, where I helped support the team on communications and strategy work.
I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies at Seattle University and have spent many years living and working around the globe including the USA, Europe, the Middle East and most recently, China. This has given me in-depth understanding of working cross-culturally with varied levels of stakeholders; particular experience includes communications, facilitation, event management, project management and stakeholder engagement.
