Robin manages the Cyber Security sector at KTN. He leads the CyberASAP programme (Cyber Security Academic Start-ups Accelerator Programme), It’s a programme that helps academics in UK universities commercialise their cyber security ideas. Delivered by KTN in partnership with DCMS and Innovate UK, CyberASAP is now in its fourth year. Since 2016, over 92 academic teams have taken part in the programme attracting over £6million in funding to-date. More details on CyberASAP can be found here.

Robin also leads on the ISCF Digital Security by Design (DSbD) challenge which aims to radically update the foundation of the UK’s insecure digital computing infrastructure. More details on DSbD are here

Robin has  30 years of industrial experience including an extensive background in semiconductor electronics, software, team and programme management. With over 30 year’s industrial experience. He holds a master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Bath and a Diploma in Management from the Open University. He is a Chartered Engineer and a registered STEM ambassador.
