Dr Stephen McComb is a Knowledge Transfer Adviser for Northern Ireland and covers several skills and capability development programmes across the UK for the KTN. He has a breadth of experience in managing large change programmes and projects with specialist knowledge in healthcare technology, digital and IOT. This experience has been gained in applying technology and process change to healthcare, government, telecoms, and logistics. He has worked in various roles in Industry, Government, Healthcare and Academia.

The Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) support businesses to engage with expert academic teams on a project-based collaboration delivering sustainable innovation with positive economic impact and additional societal or environmental benefits. Stephen also maintains relationships with a number of designated universities in relation to their participation in this programme. At the KTN, he works across various groups to support emerging client needs. Recently he has supported opportunities linked to the UKRI Future Leaders Fellowships and Innovation Scholars.

He has a Degree (Hons) in Business, MSc in Computing and a PhD in the application of Lean and Technology to Healthcare. He also has Lean expert and project management qualificaitons.
