Events Campaign Coordinator

Purpose of the role

KTN has recently launched a new identity and a new strategy. The strategy commits KTN to increasing the visibility of our work across different audiences, campaigns and partners in connecting for positive change.

Reporting into the Campaign Lead, the Campaign Coordinator (Events) will be responsible for supporting Event Managers to deliver a full portfolio of events (currently online, but will return to a combination of online, face-to-face and hybrid events). KTN runs over 500 events a year as part of a broad plan of communications.

The role will work in partnership with colleagues and contractors in events and in other client facing roles, to ensure that efficient and effective administration support is provided to the team

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Event Managers and the wider Campaigns Team as necessary
  • Set up and maintain online registration sites for events using the CVent platform
  • Assist with administration of the CVent platform
  • Manage speaker, delegate and exhibitor enquiries by email or phone
  • Engage with public enquiries by email or phone
  • Collation of post-event statistics for reporting purposes
  • Close communication with the departmental planner
  • In the future there will be additional requirements including: venue liaison, location work in venues helping with set up and support at events, production of in-event materials and couriering to location


  • Previous experience or a demonstrable understanding of the fast-paced world of events
  • Strong administrative, organisational and planning skills
  • Written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate confidently and build effective relationships
  • Team player with good relationship building and influencing skills; enjoys working in a collaborative manner in an open, honest, and diverse environment
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • High level of IT literacy


  • This role has a salary range of £23,000 to £25,000 pa dependent on experience
