Purpose of the role

Reporting to the Head of HR and Talent Development, this role is responsible for partnering with the extended leadership team and HR team to scope and define the recruitment needs across the business. The role will provide full 360-degree recruitment for the whole business across the UK and most recently within Africa with our Global Alliance Africa project.

The business is experiencing a peak in recruitment (23 vacant roles), this role will support the HR team to ensure we meet the demands of the business. This is a fixed term role from December 2020 to March 2021.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Partner with the extended leadership team and HR team to scope and define the recruitment needs across the business.
  • Advertise and directly source all roles, partnering with vendors where applicable.
  • Manage the full cycle of recruitment, including; kick off meetings, talent pooling, selection and offer management.
  • Ensuring consistency and quality in our candidate experience by aligning the recruitment process to our strategy and employee value proposition.
  • Manage recruitment campaigns, including the management of recruitment advertising and external media using innovative sources.
  • Manage administration for assessment initiatives and interviews.
  • Support in interviews where required.
  • Track recruitment activity and ensure our ATS is well maintained and kept up to date.
  • Liaise with HR Assistant to support the onboarding of all new employees.
  • Project management of ad-hoc recruitment and HR related projects.

Requirements

Experience

  • Demonstrable experience of working in an internal/on-site recruitment role within a wider HR team.
  • Ability to work at both strategic and operational levels, providing support and advice to senior stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience of using recruitment associated tools such as Workable (ATS), LinkedIn, job boards, referrals.

  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively.
  • Highly organised and methodical.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, warm and authentic and the ability to communicate confidently and build effective relationships.
  • Team player with good relationship building and influencing skills; enjoys working in a collaborative manner in an open, honest, and diverse environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of IT literacy.
