Innovate UK KTN has conducted an analysis to support the growth of the UK’s sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) industry and support the ambitions of the Jet Zero Council. This interactive analysis offers insight into the feedstock and technology pathways being utilised, the chemical products and the scale of production (TRL), to inform your supply chain development and showcase the UK’s potential in SAF.
Analysis to help build the UK SAF supply chain
Innovate UK KTN is analysing the UK SAF potential by assessing the UK chemical production landscape. Once we understand what chemicals are being produced and what feedstock and technology is utilised, we then use that intelligence to broker connections key to building the SAF supply chain.
This interactive analysis offers you insight into the feedstock and technology pathways being utilised by UK companies, their chemical products and scale of their production (TRL) to inform your project development. It is an evolving piece of work, and we invite you to request inclusion of your company in the analysis if you:
- Are utilising an alternative feedstock
- Developing a technology/process
- Produce a sustainable chemical suitable to be fed into a SAF process, or
- Produce SAF
