Accelerating Youth-Led Innovation Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Innovation Bridge Dialogue

The Global Alliance Africa project by Innovate UK KTN hosted the ‘Accelerating Youth-Led Innovations’ virtual event to commemorate International Youth Day. This event brought key ecosystem players together to explore common challenges youth-led innovations and enterprises face throughout their innovation journey. Youth in emerging markets are driving massive innovation in several sectors, including fintech, health, education, energy etc. Yet, many of these great innovative ideas and businesses led by youth are failing to scale due to challenges including the ease of doing business, capacity and business development support, lack of access to capital etc.

This session brought a panel of experts within the Nigeria and UK innovation ecosystem together to discuss these gaps and opportunities to youth-led innovation, and to provide actionable recommendations for youth-led enterprises attending the session.
