About this series

Find out more about Innovate UK’s Innovation Loans Future Economy Competition for SME businesses looking to scale and grow. Innovate UK KTN is hosting an applicant briefing webinar on Monday 21 March.

This is the first of four competitions, with each competition round running for approximately four weeks each, between March and July 2022. Loans of between £100k and £2m are available to fund late-stage research and development projects for SME’s who have a clear route to commercialisation.

To find out more, join us at our Applicant Briefing Webinar on Monday 21 March 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM, where we will provide background information to the Innovation Loans, including the application process (both from the project and financial aspects), the assessment process and the approach to the credit decision making process. Members of the Innovation Loans team will be available to answer any questions that you may have.

Attendees will also be invited to take part in:

  • Guide to a Good Project Application Workshop – 28 March 2022 – 12:00 – 13:00
  • Financial Submission Workshop – 4 April 2022 – 14:00 – 15:30
  • Credit drop-in sessions with the Innovation Loans Credit team – Friday 8 April 2022.

Full details of this competition are available on the Innovation Loans Competition page. A PDF infographic on the competition can also be downloaded here.

This is the first of four Innovation Loans Future Economy competition openings. This round closes for applications on 13 April 2022 at 11:00 am.
