KTN's Innovation Exchange (KTN-iX) platform to be showcased at All-Energy, 15 May, Glasgow
KTN is presenting the Innovation Exchange, a platform that introduces companies with innovative solutions to large businesses with technical needs
KTN-iX is an online platform that promotes innovation transfer, matching real industry challenges from large companies (Tier 1 and 2) to organisations, often from other sectors, who have innovative technology and can facilitate faster development of novel solutions to those challenges.
Speakers from KTN will be presenting a quick-fire session at the All-Energy event in Glasgow.¬†It‚Äôs ideal for delegates looking for new areas in which to deploy innovative solutions and those who have a challenge that their existing supply chain has not been able to fully address.
Challenges on the platform are in one of three sectors ‚Äì Offshore Wind, Energy Systems and Nuclear.¬† The solution to challenges could come from sectors as diverse as defence and security, oil and gas, water or healthcare; ceramics technology or sensors ‚Äì the transfer of skills and knowledge from other sectors is a key driver for the platform.
KTN speakers at the session at All-Energy are:
Chris Bagley, Head of Infrastructure, who will outline the platform‚Äôs features
John Ransford, Knowledge Transfer Manager ‚Äì Energy, who will show case the Offshore Wind Innovation Exchange successes
Louise Jones, Knowledge Transfer Manager – Energy, who will outline the current challenges on the Energy Systems Innovation Exchange
Ray Chegwin, Knowledge Transfer Manager ‚Äì Nuclear who will summarise the current challenges on the Nuclear Innovation Exchange.
Alongside KTN experts, Adam Smith, Managing Director, Intrepid Minds, will outline how his company has benefited as a client engaging with the platform, allowing delegates to see the impact of the Innovation Exchange in action.
Finally, find out from Neil Kitching at Scottish Enterprise and Arlene Goode at Arup how to apply to the Hydro Nation Water Innovation Service to accelerate the adoption of innovative freshwater related technologies.
