The Faraday Battery Challenge at LCV 2018

Find out more about the Faraday Battery Challenge from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, Innovate UK, and UKRI at LCV 2018.

The Low Carbon Vehicle Event 2018, run by Cenex and partners, will be held on 12th and 13th September in Millbrook, Bedfordshire. LCV 2017 saw 3866 attendees from 1713 organisations in the low carbon community come together. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit a technology exhibition, choose from an extensive seminar programme and see the latest research and developments as well as commercially available vehicles.

As part of the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund, £246 million will be invested to support the development of new battery technologies. The Faraday Battery Challenge is helping to develop cost-effective, high-performance, durable, safe, low-weight and recyclable batteries. Find out more about the work being done so far at LVC 2018 in Hall 1 where there will be quick-fire talks and representatives discussing the challenge.
