Chris is Head of Infrastructure at Knowledge Transfer Network in which role he covers the Energy, Urban Living, Built Environment & Construction and Water sectors. He is the Senior Manager of the Infrastructure Industry Innovation Partnership (i3P) and leads the development and delivery of the KTN’s Innovation Exchange programme KTN-iX.

Chris works with innovative SMEs, large enterprises, Government departments and local authorities across a range of discipline areas. His engagement with the research base spans energy storage to the Centre for Digital Built Britain and he is Chair of the Industrial Advisory Group of the Solar Network Plus.

Contact Chris if you’re already working in the energy, infrastructure and water sectors and want links to innovative technologies; maybe from a different sector and especially from a Net Zero perspective.  Also, organisations who have little or no knowledge of these sectors and want to understand the key drivers, programmes and opportunities to apply their innovative technologies.

Chris works with industry and academia to help drive innovation across the energy, infrastructure & water sectors.  Many of these organisations work in other sectors and Chris can provide links to information, end users and other key players and networks across these sectors and beyond.

As well as working with colleagues on the KTN innovation exchange (KTN-iX) programme, Chris supports delivery of the Infrastructure Industry Innovation Partnership (i3P); the Faraday Challenge; Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund: Prospering from the Energy Revolution; Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund: Transforming Construction.
