Our people have a deep expertise and work with a wide range of companies who are developing new technologies, platforms, products and solutions that enable the Creative Industries to thrive. These companies are innovating in the areas of production, creation, distribution and sales of creative content. They are improving workflows and ways of doing things, enabling inspiring media and content to be produced and sold across the globe.The kind of Creative industries companies we work with are developing new technologies for use in sectors like Broadcast, Streaming and Film, VFX, Immersive and VR, Games, Live Events. They are utilising technologies such as AI, IoT, Machine Vision, fast 5G and telecoms tech, cybersecurity and online safety technologies, advanced projection and lighting, smart and green fabrication and manufacturing

The Creative Industries team will help you find out about opportunities for the sector including funding. We’ll also support you when applying for funding so you maximise your change for success. We’ll identify partners best suited to your needs from our network of innovators, across sectors and technology areas.

Immerse UK brings together industry, researchers and research organisations, the public sector, entrepreneurs, innovators and end-users to support the UK in becoming the global leader in applications of immersive technologies: high-end visualisation, virtual, mixed, and augmented reality, haptics and other sensory interfaces with data.

Funding Opportunities

Innovation continuity loans November 2020 - three strands

Innovate UK is offering up to £210 million in loans to small to medium enterprises (SMEs) and third sector organisations that have a challenge in continuing, completing or following on an innovation project. Loans are for organisations that find themselves facing a sudden shortage or even unavailability of funds resulting directly from the COVID-19 pandemic.
